Honey Creek Farms Wedding in Dandridge, TN

Honey Creek Farms Wedding in Dandridge, TN

Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.     -Ann Landers

This is the kind of love this sweet couple shares. A true friendship of gentle love that is evident to those around them.

Victoria and Nathan’s wedding at Honey Creek Farms in Dandridge, Tennessee was a gathering of friends and family, a true celebration of love and coming together. Their wedding party was the most humble and helpful bunch, which is a wedding planner’s dream! These groomsmen moved chairs, carefully lining them up, rigged up the edge of the large outdoor tent to keep out the rain on wedding day, and were eager to always ask, “Is there anything I can help with?”, I am thankful I had the opportunity to meet each of these fine gentlemen.

Bridesmaids’ Dresses & DIY

Don’t these ladies look lovely in their mint dresses with precious lace extenders. And these pretty bouquets were carefully crafted by this DIY bride. Victoria made several different elements featured on her wedding day. If you love DIY and are looking for ideas or would like Victoria to create your wedding bouquets, check out more of her work, here.

Victoria DIYed her centerpieces and bought the remaining trinkets at Hobby Lobby. I encourage all of my couples to have an odd number of items at each centerpiece if you are creating a collection. The odd number seems to create balance and symmetry in the design.

I also create a detailed wedding day timeline for every Stressless Weddings’ couple, Victoria displayed this timeline on this gorgeous white chalkboard, for all to see.

And it’s always fun to create a special cake for the groom. This country-lovin’ groom’s cake was topped with a red jeep representing his love of muddin’.
